Telemecanique electromechanical limit switches
XC OsiSense Telemecanique range of limit switches and accessories. With precise operating points and visible operation, these Telemecanique limit switches are the perfect solution for a multitude of applications, including escalators, electrical assembly equipment and material handling. A limit switch is commonly composed of an actuator head, a switch body and a female connector, mainly used as part of a control system within industrial applications such as those listed above. These in particular also have double insulation and are equipped with a robust and wear-resistant material.
The products within this range are compact and easy to use, they are made of UL-VO reinforced thermoplastic material which provides an additional layer of protection and has an IP66 degree of protection.
How does a limit switch work?
The limit switches operate through a contact proximity sensor device equipped with an actuator which is mechanically connected to a set of output contacts. When an object comes into contact with the actuator, the device activates the contacts to establish or break an electrical connection.
